Emanuele Bodo

Emanuele Bodo was born in 1983 in a small village in Piedmont and began playing the electric guitar at the age of twelve.
He graduated from a renowned music academy with top marks and earned a degree in Arts, Music, and Entertainment Studies in 2007.

After more than twenty years of musical studies, fascinated by modern djent techniques and shredding while also holding a certain nostalgia for the great progressive masterpieces of the past—where incredible melodic openings and classical harmonies found their place—he decided to start working on his first solo album.

Produced by Emanuele Bodo and Ænima Recordings, Unsafe Places was highly praised by critics worldwide as a complex and particularly ambitious work.
The first single, Black Dunes, was presented at Musikmesse in Frankfurt and the Guitar Show in Padua.

At the same time, he is a guitarist, composer, and arranger for the symphonic metal band Errant Shadow, with whom he has recorded two albums. He also teaches guitar and music theory at the Centro per la Musica in Piedmont.

Since 2016, he has been an endorser of his inseparable Ego Guitar by Marconi Lab.

Akihiko and His Two-Hand Tapping Technique That Amazes Enthusiasts and Musicians

He tells us that he began studying two-hand tapping for a specific reason.

A musician with thirty years of experience, he completely changed his technique due to severe burns on his left hand, which resulted in a loss of sensitivity in both his middle and pinky fingers of his right hand. In 2008, doctors declared the nerves in his phalanges compromised and confirmed the diagnosis.

It was unlikely that he would fully recover, and playing the guitar as he had before would be difficult. After deep reflection on whether to stop playing altogether, in 2009, he began studying a new technique: two-hand tapping. Thanks to this approach, he embraced a new challenge for his music.

In 2011, he won first place in the improvisation competition presented by Makoto Kuriya, a highly successful jazz pianist actively involved in the music scene. His technique stood out, catching the attention of the renowned pianist, who invited him to perform together at Billboard Live OSAKA.

Continuously growing, Akihiko expands his audience, also thanks to his social media presence, which highlights his remarkable skills. A finalist in the JTC Guitar Solo Contest in 2015, he joined the EGOguitar roster in 2016—first with a seven-string fanned guitar and later with his own EGO® signature model.

Alessandro Ienaro

Alessandro was born in 1977. With a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a great passion for music—particularly for the guitar—he developed a strong connection to the instrument. The first in his family to show interest in music, at the age of three, he tried to emulate 80s bands by singing their songs almost every day.

His love for Rock emerged quickly when he discovered bands like Europe and Van Halen. He considers himself very fortunate to have grown up surrounded by friends who were already passionate about music, exposing him to a wide range of genres—from classical music to death metal—always maintaining a high level of appreciation.

At 13, he "borrowed" an old classical guitar from his uncle and immediately started playing Metallica songs! His first electric guitar was a gift from his parents when he was 14, and he still owns it today. As he grew up playing day after day, he discovered his greatest passion.

His key influences include Pantera, Death, and Meshuggah, but also more progressive bands like Dream Theater, Rush, and Fates Warning. He first encountered the seven-string guitar when Korn took the scene by storm with their K7 model. Wanting to play differently like them, he decided to build his own seven-string guitar, which he still plays to this day.

His focus on developing complex and intricate rhythmic patterns led him to follow Meshuggah as a stylistic reference. This is why he also decided to own an eight-string guitar, seeking to understand this new world.

Time passed quickly, and for personal reasons, he stopped playing for almost seven years. However, he later made up for lost time by studying with Massimo Varini and Gianluca Ferro, who helped him grow in music theory and composition.

Over the years, he played in various local bands, experimenting with different styles but always maintaining a heavy sound. Today, he is focused on writing his own music in a modern progressive style. His current influences (with Meshuggah still ever-present!) include Animals as Leaders, Mestis, Plini, Periphery, Toska, and Vola. Proudly, he has had his own signature model guitar since 2018.

Carmine Migliore

He began playing in church with the Scouts and, by the age of 13, had already formed his first band, Zephyrus. In 1983, together with his brother Tonino, he formed the duo T&C Migliore, participating in numerous national events such as "Disco Verde."

In 1989, he toured with Mal both in Italy and abroad. He attended several seminars with internationally renowned guitarists, including Frank Gambale, Steve Morse, and Mike Stern. In 1993, he joined Collage, with whom he recorded Replay, a collection of rearranged hits. From 1997, he toured with Leandro Barsotti, Danilo Amerio, Paolo Belli, James Thompson (Zucchero’s saxophonist), and Adriano Pappalardo. In January 1998, he released the album Live at Blinsky, recorded in a club. In 2000, he returned to Collage and recorded the album Settantaseiduemila.

His passion for rock and blues led him to form Blues Road, followed by C. Migliore & Road Runner, with whom he won the Critics' Prize at the "Oro di Andy Festival" and the "European Live Festival" with the song Black Sister.

Alongside his career as a session musician and performer, he teaches guitar at the Yamaha Music School in Avellino, La Nota in Capua, and La Seconda Musa in Aversa (CE), as well as modern and choral singing at Liberhart in Capua, Ensemble in Caivano (NA), and the Evan Gorga association in Santa Maria Capua Vetere (CE).

Between October and December 2002, he won the semifinals for Central/Southern Italy and the national finals in Biella for the Hit Festival of Saint Vincent (AO). He performed at the festival on January 25-26, 2003, at the Palais de Saint Vincent with his song Jimi.

In April 2003, two of his songs, Cosa c’è che non va? and Sweet Angel, were included in the compilation L’Evoluzione del Rock’o under the Niski label in Ferentino (FR). In November of that year, his first solo album, La Favola, was also released under the same label. The song Cosa c’è che non va? was played on national networks like Radio Capital, RDS, and RaiStereo1, charting on RaiStereoNotte and being broadcast on foreign stations such as Radio Holstebro (Denmark), Radio Nou (Spain), and Radio Buenos Aires (Argentina).

At the beginning of 2004, a second compilation of L’Evoluzione del Rock’o was released, featuring two more of his songs: Se Vuoi (from La Favola) and the previously unreleased NSK, which he wrote and sang in collaboration with other artists from the compilation, including Giorgia Paradiso, winner of Sanremo Rock.

Over the years, Carmine has participated in numerous rock and blues festivals, including Sparanise International Blues Festival, Teano Jazz, Zoster Rock Fest, Laceno Rock Festival, and Alatri Rock (broadcast on MTV). He was also a guest at the Rock Targato Italia Southern Italy finals in Rome, performing alongside artists like Tolo Marton, Crystal White, Paul Young & Los Pacaminos, Mike Stern, Scott Henderson, and Hiram Bullock.

In 2005, he returned to pop music with an Italian tour. In October 2005, he contributed to the project Le Gesta di un Campione, a song dedicated to the late boxer Prisco Perugino. The release included both a rock version and a remix by Attila DeeJay.

At the beginning of 2006, he was invited to Beauvais (Paris) by Daniel Lauvray, a collaborator of Le Blues Autour du Zinc, one of the most important European blues festivals. He participated as a demonstrator for Jim Reed products and as a special guest with Arnold Baker & The Tuxedos, one of the top French rock ’n’ roll bands. His success led festival director Laurent Macimba to invite him back for the 2007 edition, this time with his own band. That same year, he released his new album, Nell’infinità di quest’attimo, under the Yellow Moon Factory and Crotalo labels.

In 2007, he revived I Romans, one of Italy’s most significant bands, alongside Daniele Aloisio and Claudio Natili, the group's historic singer and guitarist. In July 2007, he performed at the Brindisi Blues Festival with his new band, I Niussò, marking another key milestone in his career.

Between 2008 and 2009, he wrote a song for an UNICEF charity album, which was also released as a single in the U.S.: Lettera a mio Figlio.

2010 saw Carmine return to performing with Mal as part of New Primitives, and it was also a crucial year for his blues career. He reunited with Gianpy Feola and Mike Califano (Cheap Tequila), both former members of Carvin Jones’s band, one of the most respected American rock/blues musicians. With Cheap Tequila, he recorded The Blues Stays in Me, a collection of their best live covers plus an original song by Carmine, Nothin’ Stays in Me. In February 2011, the band premiered the album during a Spanish tour, achieving great success at major rock and blues festivals, often headlining. By the end of the tour, their Spanish manager had already planned another tour for late August and early September of that year.

In 2012, the Mayor and City Council appointed him President of the Civica Accademia Sperimentale Musicale – Città di Capua – Giuseppe Martucci.

In 2013, he became a lead singer and guitarist in the rock/blues band of the legendary Andrea Braido (known for working with Vasco Rossi, Patty Pravo, Adriano Celentano, Zucchero, Ramazzotti, Ligabue, and Mina).

In 2014, along with three other musicians from a well-known Italian rock band, he formed Password and released the single Morire per Vivere with an accompanying music video under the AJ Punto Musica label in Modica (RG).

Since February 2016, he has been a guitarist and backing vocalist for Ivana Spagna, performing on the TV show Sabato In on Rai Uno, where he also sang La Bella e la Bestia.

In January 2018, he presented the EGO® NeverLandAngel Signature guitar, designed to his specifications, at NAMM in Los Angeles, where he performed alongside Frank Gambale, Stu Hamm, Marcus Miller, and Alain Caron.
